Webinar "Social Networks + & -" for Chitalishta Teams within "DAD" Project

On May 28th, 2021 Platform AGORA held a thematic webinar titled "Social Networks + & -" within the project "DAD - Digital Alternatives for Development", funded by the Active Citizens Fund - Bulgaria under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area with the support of the donor countries - Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. That was the first of seven thematic webinars that would be held till Januar 2022 within the project. The webinar presented a critical review of the social networks, how they function, what are their positive and negative sides and how the Chitalishta can exploit them for their causes. Recommendations with examples were given how to protect and recognize fake news and disinformation, at the end of the webinar the Chitalishta got tasks for the next online meeting. The results of which will be presented on June 11th, 2021.
