Closing Conference on Discrimination and Human Rights in Bursa

On May 27th in Bursa, Turkey was held the Closing conference "Human Rights, Antidiscrimination and Intercultural Dialogue", organized within the project "Unlock the Treasures".

The main points and emphasis in the program of the event were the presentations of: Orcun Zorlu, Chairman of the Federation of the Roma Associations in Turkey; Lalo Kamenov, member of the Commission for Protection from Discrimination in Bulgaria; Prof. Dr. Kamuran Recber, Uluda University in Bursa and project expert; Rumyan Sechkov, Chairman of SEGA Foundation, Bulgaria as well as Arif Celenk, Chairman of the Association of the Syrian Immigrants in Bursa.

Within the conference a photo exhibition was launched combining children's paintings and photographs of authors who viewed through their lens the topics of human rights, discrimination and intercultural dialogue.

The project is implemented in partnership with the Balkan Immigrants Culture and Solidarity Association - BALGOC with headquarters in Bursa, Turkey and is funded by the Civil Society Dialogue Between EU And Turkey -III Political Criteria Grant Scheme, Lot 2: Anti-Discrimination.
